How to run cron on Ubuntu on Windows 10 (WSL)

I'm running Ubuntu using Windows Subsystem for Linux, which is a mechanism for running Linux on Windows 10.

I registered a script in cron because of my work, but it doesn't work ...

Apparently the Fall Creators Update only works while the terminal is running and while cron is running manually.

Isn't it useless because it is not for server use?

If you just want to move it, run the following command in the terminal:

 sudo service cron start

If the command is successful, “OK” is displayed.
sudo service cron start

Future updates to Windows 10 will allow you to run background tasks including daemons, so you can expect.
